Bro. Gary has served as our Music and Worship Minister since June 1, 1988. Under his leadership, the music ministry of Second Baptist Church has become one of the premier ministries in the state. Our Adult Choir and Orchestra has presented music at many state and national Baptist Conventions, as well as the Inauguration of Georgia’s Governor Sonny Perdue. The Music and Worship Ministry of Second Baptist is committed to Exalting the Savior, Edifying the Saints and Evangelizing the Sinner in all music selected and presented each and every week. Our method is music, our message is Jesus, and our reason is eternity. If you are interested in using your talents to serve God through music, we have a place just for you! We offer adult, youth, and graded children’s choirs, as well as adult and youth orchestras. In addition, our Music Ministry offers many opportunities to serve through the performing arts such as drama, or by assisting with props, staging, costumes, and more.
